Living in Mexico is not like all the world thinks; Mexican life is a great way of living. The culture of this country is unique and different from all the others. Mexico is good people, is tasteful food, magnificent constructions, catchy music, incredible nature places and the most important Mexico is variety, in individuals, in cultures, in education, in religions, in everything.
I have to admit that Mexico is not perfect. Yes, it has corruption and Drug-traffickers who make that Mexico’s reputation goes down, but I think that every country has the same type of problems and because of that bad people, the society’s thoughts are that this is the most dangerous place that you could ever find in the whole planet. The reality is that you have to care of yourself, but I’m not afraid of living in Monterrey, N.L. I like to live here. I go to malls, to party’s at night, at noon; at every hour of the day really, I hang out with friends, play at parks, walk alone in the streets, and I’m alive. The life here is pretty much normal and I enjoy it, but it is not fare to think that if you put a foot on Mexico you’re going to die, that is not true at all.
I guess that the people try to hide their truth and that’s why they don’t stop criticizing our problems and make them bigger than they really are. I want the people to know that Mexico is like other countries. It has schools; public and private, hotels, cities, fast food restaurants, cars and contamination! Like everyone else, so the people could now try to imagine us like the other countries and stop the discrimination against us.
This is a beautiful and unique place, where you can enjoy a lot of nature, animals, food, dances, sports and a lot of fun things to do, I think everyone would like this country, but you will not know it if you don’t try it.

it is so true.
I also love to live here in Mexico. i love food, in other countries food is tasteless(except for some Asian and European countries). and i love it's culture, the difference is what makes one special, i also like to hang out with my friends(when i can) and have a good time. but also the insecurity theme may be new to some people so they're afraid, i'm really used to see people death, to hear shootings and fights, because of the environment i had grown in. Not everything is just violence as you've said, we still can visit some places, and learn new things, what i like of this country the most is it's nature and diversity of culture; the nature is really awesome the variety of plants and animals in every place of the country and in state, the culture: the dances, the songs, the beliefs(including superstitions).
I DO REALLY LOVE THIS COUNTRY, someone might say "she's crazy", yes, i am, i did already knew i was crazy, xD.
